Community

Home » Community

Like everyone else, persons with disabilities need a place in the community, want to enjoy the activities they love and make friends.

We believe that everyone deserves a place in the community, and while we work hard to ready our students and their parents for life outside of school, we know that it is vital for the community to come alongside all of us, to let us know that we are not alone, that we are part of the community, that we have our place in the sun.

Activities

Get involved in activities that bring persons of all abilities together, be it having a cup of serious coffee, attending an event or learning more through a workshop.

Community Spaces

Use our venues for your events. Our spaces are specially designed to allow participation from persons of all abilities, with accessible facilities that are friendly for all.

Seeds Cafe serves good coffee and light meals, while providing F&B training opportunities for young persons with special needs, as well as social space for an inclusive community. It is where young people with different abilities can grow, and where all of us can better appreciate people as unique individuals through authentic and meaningful interactions.

Seeds Market is held on the first Saturday of every month from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The food and craft market features four key areas – student-made crafts, baked goods, plants and produce, and inclusive workshops and activities.
